Duncan, another founding member of West Midlands Media has had a varied career background which helps him to really understand businesses of all types.
For the last 18 years Duncan has been a digital marketeer/knit picker and is always striving for the best from all the staff including himself.
Duncan's skills are understanding clients businesses and putting a strategy in place for there online businesses from branding, through to web design and digital marketing.
If you book an appointment to see us it's probably Duncan (sometimes known as the one with the big bald head) you will meet and he will ask all the expected questions and the one's you don't expect to get the perfect brief so we can start making you money online.
Faisal is the big boss of West Midlands Media and is one of the original founders. He's a no nonsense type of guy and deals with the business aspects of the organisation.
He's the one that keeps us on the straight and narrow and makes sure the business is driven to become one of the best digital agencies in the West Midlands, then the World.
Danny has worked at WMM since 2006 and was one of the original developers from day dot. He came from a background of developing clan websites for gaming in his spare time, which sparked his interest in development and then decided to pursue it as a career.
Danny is very articulate in his thought process for development and can plan how to get to A to B using the best approach and most efficient manner.
He is now a shareholder and director of West Midlands Media and primarily works on our long term projects.
Scott is our lead web developer and has been part of the furniture for many years now. He originally worked in retail whilst at University but had been learning to be a developer during studies and in his spare time.
When we interviewed Scott we loved his personality and attitude and instantly offered him the position. Scott's dedication led him to be the development manager within WMM and what he doesn't know about development or our client websites really doesn't need to be known.
Scott now passes his knowledge and experience to the rest of the team to make sure we have one of the best development teams in the West Midlands.
Daniel comes from a digital marketing background and has proven skills in search engine optimisation, he has worked with small to large organisations alike to enhance their organic presence with great success.
Not only is he a SEO Guru, he’s also a great developer too! He has a lot of experience as a WordPress developer and also with custom applications too.
Daniel is a happy go lucky type of guy and is constantly learning to push his skills further and further. Daniel really compliments the WMM team and we are glad to have him as part of the family!
Abbey originally came to West Midlands Media as an apprentice in mid 2017, her portfolio was that impressive we had already decided before she came for the interview that she was going to be the chosen one.
Well we are far from being an Oracle but what a decision we made as the speed Abbey picked things up was unbelievable. The way she can use her creative imagination and flair really makes our clients go "Wow".
Abbey is constantly learning and has extended her design skills to video production and also is an ace at the design and development of Shopify sites too.
Abbey is now a fully fledged member of the WMM team and her personality, creative ideas/skills and attention to detail is absolutely flawless.
Jack is part of the web development team at WMM and has great strengths in both front and back end web development. Jack is an easy going guy that everyone gets along with and we are proud to have him as part of the team.
In Jack's spare time he is an avid trekker and loves going across the country finding interesting walks to pursue.
Rob is our QA Engineer and the detail-focused force behind the scenes who makes sure everything we deliver meets the highest standard.
From website updates to full-scale project launches, Rob thoroughly tests every element before it goes live, using his eagle eye for detail to catch issues before they ever reach our clients.
He also supports our internal team by helping coordinate support requests and ensuring tasks are handled efficiently, keeping projects moving and client websites running smoothly.
With Rob overseeing quality assurance, you can trust that every update is carefully checked, polished, and ready to perform.
Lewis was originally an english teacher based in Spain but wanted a change in his career and really wanted to be a front end developer. He approached us after he had spent a while teaching himself, so we took him under our wing and the guys started to offer him in-depth training.
Lewis has learned loads since being here and has picked up his role as a front end dev and is now a credit to WMM.
Lewis is a Birmingham City fan but we try not to hold that against him.
Lauren is our Graphic Designer and costs the company £1000's a year in pens which are chewed up on a daily basis.
When Lauren isn't emptying our stationery cupboard of pens she is doing first class design work, whether it be branding, print or web the results are always top notch. If you have looked at our portfolio you know the results Lauren and Abbey achieve speak for themselves.
Lauren is always trying new techniques to keep West Midlands Media as a company ahead of the game and this in turn really keeps our development team on their toes too.
Dan originally started as an apprentice at West Midlands Media in 2016 as a Front End Developer. In Dan's first year he really impressed us as he was extremely driven to learn as much as humanly possible and carried on learning in his own time as he had a genuine passion for web development.
Dan learnt CSS/HTML very quickly and now is a fully fledged member of the WMM team and still enjoys learning new techniques to carry on making our projects out of this world.
The designers really challenge Dan in his role with new front end functionality he has to implement from their designs. He does have the odd Hulk moment here and there and loves to challenge Steve but we love him for it and its great entertainment for the rest of the team.
James is our latest apprentice and is training to be a front end developer with Dan's help. Over the last few months his skills have really excelled and he can now take a complex design and turn it into a like for like working web page.
James is constantly spending time learning to better himself and we will carry on giving him the help and support required so his work is second to none.
As with all apprentices we have brought on through WMM we really can't wait to take James on once his apprenticeship is complete.

Freddie began his journey at West Midlands Media as an apprentice, completing his Business Administration Apprenticeship with Distinction and quickly becoming an integral part of the team.
Since then, he has progressed into his role as Head of Client Services, where he leads client communications and helps ensure every project gets off to the best possible start.

Sibi is a PHP Developer at West Midlands Media and is currently studying at the University of Birmingham. Alongside his academic studies, Sibi works on developing and maintaining robust, efficient backend solutions, contributing to a range of digital projects.
With a strong interest in web development and problem-solving, Sibi applies his technical knowledge in a practical, real-world environment, continuously building his skills in PHP and related technologies. He is detail-oriented, driven, and passionate about developing clean, scalable code as he progresses in his career within the tech industry.
