We had previously worked with Sunny on the John Shooter project built in Shopify and he was so impressed with the results he commissioned us to look at his other business SafariQuip.
We loved working with Sunny as he is a really chilled guy open to suggestions and ideas for the approach, so the relationship was really good having worked with him on the previous project.
SafariQuip is an online store offering everything you need for travelling from travel protection, to clothing and accessories.
Our approach was the same as the John Shooter project, we knew Sunny likes to use Shopify so we decided to base SafariQuip on Shopify too.
Abbey firstly started by bringing the branding right up to date and then the design of the home and internal pages which Sunny loved.
The guys then developed the site exactly to the designs and at the end imported all the previous customers and orders from the old site saving a load of time and also meaning as soon as we had completed he was ready to go live straight away.
SafariQuip had branding before we started the work, but we felt it looked a bit dated, and as it was an established brand we didn’t want to start from scratch. So, to keep the brand recognition we used the original logo as a basis and then used new colours and fonts, so it looked more like a refreshed logo than a new logo and it really worked out well.
We then expanded the branding with new font sets across the site to really concrete in the brand.
Sunny was over the moon with the new branding as he hadn’t considered this before we had suggested it.
We loved working with Sunny again and love using the Shopify platform, so this was a great project for us, and the end results speak for themselves. Once again, the team have pulled it off with another great website and it really goes to show when you have the budget to do a job properly it really pays off for not only us to have enough time to do a job that’s over and above expectations but for the client too who benefits from a new following of clients.
