Powermet

The Brief

The Brief

Kyle approached us as he was establishing a new company called Powermet, seeking assistance with branding, stationery, datasheets, and website development. With many years of experience in the earthing product industry, Kyle had a clear vision of what he needed. We began by presenting a detailed proposal covering all his requirements. Upon approval, we were commissioned to execute the brief. We always relish the opportunity to collaborate with startups, assisting them in laying the foundation and equipping them with the tools necessary to reach potential clients.

The Approach

Our approach as always starts with research so we could build a strategy to develop the branding and everything that follows to apeal to his target market.

Firstly was the branding which Kyle had already mocked up a brand logo but we felt it was about 75% of where it needed to be so this got tidied up and brand guidelines were also produced so Kyle could use these when required for further advertising or marketing of the brand.

Next was the business cards which came out really nice, using a heavyweight card and double sided spot uv to really make the lightening bolt stand out. We then designed and printed data sheets which really stand well with the branding that setup and instantly recognisable that they are Powerment.

Finally was the website which as with all projects the homepage was designed, presented and tweaked till Kyle was happy and then all other pages were designed and tweaked.

Branding

While Kyle initially designed the Powermet logo, we believed it required some refinements to achieve its full potential. We made adjustments to ensure symmetry and alignment with the business's identity. Subsequently, we created a brand guideline document detailing the usage of the logo, fonts, styles, and more.

Once the Powermet logo received approval, we designed a new logo for Powersafe, which represents the range of earthing products under the Powermet brand.

Web Design

The Powermet website was built on WordPress, and as is evident with our other sites, we don't use templates. Each design is crafted specifically with the client's needs in mind. We avoid simply inserting graphics into off-the-shelf WordPress designs, which in our opinion, should only be used if there's a restrictive budget but that isnt what we are about, we really aim for the client to sit above the competitors especially being a new company to the market which we feel really needs to be pushed more than an established company.
