The Brief

Alan and Sue came to West Midlands Media as they wasn't happy with the current web and marketing company. They wanted to start with a fresh new brand, website and digital marketing, as they struggle with tech there were a lot of questions asked as they didnt want to end up in the same position again. After reassuring them everything that had happened previously that they wouldnt get the same service from us and that we are on there side and want to see them do well we were commissioned with the project.

Alan and Sue have been offering house clearances for many years now and know the business inside out, we were able to question them on what they wanted it to display, which areas they work in and there perfect client too.

Then as always we started with the most important part of the journey which is research, research and more research to make sure we had all the ingredients for the perfect strategy.

The Approach

Our approach was firstly look at the brand logo which we felt was dispraportionate, looked very aged and just didnt come across professional at all. The new brand uses modern fonts and symbols, has a more effective colour pallet and when we showed them they was over the moon and felt more at ease that the future will bring a lot more work in.

Regarding the website we wanted to carry on pushing the new brand and made sure the whole website is really pushes the new brand guidelines. Also we made sure to encompass all the services they offer, the reasons to choose U Call We Clear and of course the areas they cover into the homepage.

As they will be using Google Ads primarily for advertising (along with organic seo) we needed to make sure the homepage and internals are all ready for the campaigns we will be setting up which we think has come out really well and will be tweaked as the campaigns run and accumulate data.

It is very rare that we would suggest a new brand with an established company but the logo wasn't helping them portray themselves in a good light to customers. We spoke to Alan and Sue and convinced them to commission us with a redesign. I have to say the difference is worlds apart and Alan and Sue really agreed it was in the best interests for the company once seeing what we had come up with.

It looks fresh, modern and has more of a remembrance factor which gave us a great start to designing the new website.

Web Design

The new website uses WordPress for the content management system and offers a completely bespoke design. Once all the designs were signed off the website was built from the ground up and for a small brochure website we really love it. Alan and Sue hadnt been taking many photos of the jobs so we will be adding new jobs in as they come to make sure the website regular new content.
