The Brief before

The Brief

After developing the previous Bulley’s website 8 years ago the directors requested a meeting to develop a brand new website. We were over the moon that we had formed such a good relationship that Bulley’s were quite happy to use us again and not even put the new website out for other quotations before committing to the project.

The brief was left in our hands for the best part but requirements mentioned were for a much more modern feel incorporating a responsive layout, an array of new features including a far more advanced search facility and to review and revise the usability of the website too.

The Approach

As Bulley’s are one of the leading Commercial Property Agents in the West Midlands we really had to make sure that our approach really showcased their level of service and experience.

Firstly was the research process which starts with an in-depth look into the industry, competition and target market too. This gave us a clear view for the navigation, functionality and usability for the new website which was then presented and warmly welcomed with minimal changes from Bulley’s.

The previous website was quite thin in width due to its age, so we wanted to use the extra space available to make the site cleaner, wider and allow more space for all the elements required. This would allow us to create a clear funnel for the user to get them to the properties they would like to view and enquire in as little steps as possible.

Whilst using as much space for desktop and laptop devices, the website was carefully planned and designed for the highest level of mobile functionality too.

Branding

Bulley’s branding has been established for many years now so this remained the same. In design we wanted to use a simple approach using the brand statements, colours and fonts to really reinstate to the client the professionalism of the Bulley’s service. Ultimately to produce a website that if the client returned they would know they have returned to the right place, even if they were new to the Bulley’s brand.

We are really happy with the end result and the way that the Bulley’s brand colours really stand out across the website.

Web Design

The new Bulley’s website is designed and developed to be fully bespoke based on our own WMM content management system which allows us to build all unique functionality completely to our client’s requirements, whilst still providing a very simple user interface.

The Bulley’s website was designed to give clients looking for commercial property a sense of confidence in the brand whilst offering an easy to use advanced search facility so finding the perfect property is so much easier.

A clear funnel was also designed from home page to search to enquiry, if the client didn’t find anything suitable we still added In fail safes to gain the customer details with features like signing up for property alerts as an example.

Overall Bulley’s are over the moon with the new site and we look forward to working with the team for the foreseeable future.
