Andrea, Simon and Josh firstly arranged a meeting for us to go over and discuss the project in further detail, as Best 4 Electrics was a seperate website to their main website.
We went over to see them and learn more about what was needed, they required an E-Commerce website to put select product ranges on sale for their clients but it had to be connected to a third party order management system which dealt with orders, customers, delivery etc....
Our approach was firstly to decide which platform to sit the site on, we ended up in agreement to use our own WM Commerce platform as there was lots of custom code needed and it also made it easier to implement the Order Management System too.
As Best 4 Electrics was a brand new company we started design with a new brand logo which the guys had a clear idea of what they wanted. Then we went on to design the homepage and all the internal pages too which the guys really liked and with minimal tweaks the design was signed off.
The development of the site as well as the design was fully bespoke to the clients requirements and built in a way that as new features are needed they can be added as required.
As this was a brand new sub company we were commissioned within the job to design a new logo but the Best 4 Electrics guys pretty much knew what they wanted so we followed the brief and offered a few suggestions to start with and after a few tweaks Best 4 Electrics was born as a brand.
This was a great project to work on from a research, planning, design and development perspective. The end result is professional, user friendly and of course can be tweaked as we go to add new functionality as required.
