Aldridge Trimming Website Design & Development

The Brief

First I must say what a privelage it was to work with Aldridge Trimming as we have some major car buffs at WMM who watch Car SOS so we already knew who Aldridge Trimming were.

The brief was for a clean and fresh new ecommerce store as the old website was looking very dated and it didn't really show off Aldridge to their full potential and show off the amazing work they offer.

The new website not only offers an online shop but also offers users the ability to upload images of their project, club discounts, case studies, sample requests and a lot of other new features too.

The Approach

Our approach as always started with a meeting with the Aldridge Trimming team to get a list of requirements and talk about the style of design too. It was a great meeting where we got a lot of information and ideas to start the project.

The homepage design was started and it was warmly received although later in the project a couple of amends were made to the design. Once the homepage was all signed off the rest of the internal pages were designed and sent for approval with minimum tweaks.

Next was on to development and we used our inhouse ecommerce platform due to the amount of custom work that was required.

We love the finished project and are now looking for more car related websites to get involved with.

Branding

Aldridge Trimming have had their brand for a long while now so we didnt touch the logo but we wanted to make sure the new website was branded correctly in the right pantones and fonts so everything was a lot more uniform.

We do think now that with Aldridge's distinct colour palette that the website really strengthens the brand online.

Web Design

The new website looks amazing and it has a very clear and intuitive sales process.

We feel the look exceeds the market leaders in the industry now and we are very proud of the outcome.
